Peabody snod, otherwise known tae his freens as Jimbo, lived in his hame toon ,Aberdeen, in an auld attic in the year 1854. It was his joab tae watch the graveyards fer budy snatchers and it wis his misfortune tae almost always get the night shift. Weel, poor Pee, he had a thick thatch o' white hair oan his heid bit only at th' back. He loast the rest when he espied his first ghoul,this is whit he tolt everywan bit we all kent that it wis madam toots, the lady o' the night, wot pulled it oot when she saw the ghoulies wot confronted her that nicht. All Pee saw wis ......

Pee got up, straightened oot his briches, retied his cravat and marched swiftly doon the path oot o' the Churchyard and bumped intae his missus who had just arrived wi his broze n' haggis sandwich ...............
