| Only NINE days to go!! OMG!!! Pass the paper bag! I haven't even started to sort my stuff out yet and my dogs!! All have to have baths. Two are being kenneled,my old girl and one other for company. The others will stay at home while this English lady,Mags, will come each day to feed etc. But It makes me anxious because I'll be gone a whole month! I have to spend some time in Scotland first in case I do decide to go back to live. I'm also booked to stay in Buckie for another month over Christmas! Hope my dogs will be ok!
Plus now another stray showed up at ma door two weeks ago. What a sight! still very much a puppy, long lanky legs that go in all directions, but he's nothing....and i do mean nothing but a bag o' bones!
He's a lot better now and has become very playful, I think he's put on weight. I'll have to get him fixed and vetted, meanwhile he still lives behind the car garage.though he wants to come in the yard with the others, he'll have to wait until after his visit to the vet. plus I don't want him chewing on my stuff! What with the builders and their things all over the shop!
I'm wondering what to call him.....any ideas?

Peri is good at that stuff, whatcha think lad? You've answered your own question. So much of what's out there on the 'Net now is so much more complex than it used to be, that dial-up is a dud for most things beyond basic E-mail. Much too slow. Right now, I have as fast a broadband connection as can be but things like YouTube don't work properly at all, because I have a vintage iMac that was made in 2001 or so! (When's the last time you saw a computer with a CRT [cathode-ray tube; think the picture tube in a telly set]?!)

| well, I can't wait for the day when you just click on like with a radio and thats it, watch/listen, the dial up really drives me bonkers! | |

| Torry, there is broadband here but I live in the country and I have no neighbors. Its hard therefore to get the internet providers to remember me and link me up! I've been on the waiting list for several years! Well actually, nifts,I have never tried that kind o' wine in ma life!! A nice Chardonnay,or a Merlot, yes! I believe the equivalent to Buckfast out here is called "night Train"! | |
